تعمل الدكتورة روبيك كمنسقة لفريق العلاج الوظيفي وعلاج النطق، والسلوك والذي يقوم بتقييم حالات الأطفال وعلاج أولئك ذوي الإعاقات النمائية على اختلاف أنواعها، بما في ذلك التوحد. ومنذ العام 1998، قدمت روبيك خدمات تحليل السلوك التطبيقي (ABA) المتعلقة بطيف التوحد، وتقدم حاليًا مجموعة من الخدمات تتنوع بين التشخيص وتطوير برامج تحليل السلوك التطبيقي. وقد قامت بالفعل بإطلاق اثنين من هذه البرامج في مدينة نيويورك لتوفير خدمات منزلية عالية الجودة لمئات من الأسر التي لديها أطفال يعانون من حالات مرضية ذات علاقة بالتوحد، كما بدأت في تطوير برنامجٍ ثالث في نفس المجال للأطفال والمراهقين ذوي بالتوحد في مدرسة جمعية تأهيل الأطفال المعاقين ذهينًا “سوريم” في شانديغار بالهند. ولها عدة مؤلفات منها “إن طفلي من ذوي التوحد: دليل للأهل والمختصين.”

Dr. Adrienne Robek

Dr. Robek coordinates a multi-disciplinary team of speech, behavior, and occupational therapists who provide assessments and treatment to children with various developmental disabilities, including autism. Since 1998, Dr. Robek has been providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services related to autism spectrum, and currently provides an array of services that range from diagnostics to the development of ABA programs. She has developed two ABA programs in New York City that provide home-based, high quality services to hundreds of families with children suffering from different autism related conditions, and started an ABA program for children and adolescents with autism at the SOREM School in Chandigarh, India.
She is the author of several publications including My Child Has Autism: A Handbook for Parents and Professionals.
