حصلت تريسي على درجة البكالوريوس في علم النفس في جامعة نورث كارولينا في تشابل هيل، ودرجة الدكتوراه في علم النفس تخصص علم النفس العيادي في جامعة دنفر. تتمتع بخبرة تمتد لــ 20 عامًا في العمل مع الأطفال والمراهقين وأسرهم ضمن مجموعة متنوعة من البيئات، بما في ذلك المدارس، ومرافق العلاج السكنية، والصحة العقلية المجتمعية، ومراكز احتجاز الأحداث. عملت مع الأطفال والمراهقين من ذوي التعليم الخاص، والصحة العقلية، واحتياجات النمو. وخلال عملها في مثل هذه البيئات الصعبة، قدمت خدمة مباشرة وتدريب فعال للموظفين، وتعليم ودعم لأولياء الأمور، وخدمات استشارية. وقد انضمت إلى مؤسسة قطر عام 2012 للعمل في مجال علم النفس المدرسي في أكاديمية أوساج، ثم أصبحت المسؤول الرئيسي لمركز التعلم عام 2014. وفي يناير 2018، عينت مديرًا له. وقبل انضمامها إلى مؤسسة قطر عام 2012، عملت في مركز الصحة العقلية المجتمعية في دينفر، بولاية كولورادو، حيث عملت كمدير لبرنامج خدمات الطفولة المبكرة ومدير التدريب للأطباء النفسيين.
Dr. Tracy Hardister
Director - The Learning Center (TLC)
Tracy received her BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. Dr. Hardister has 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of environments, including schools, residential treatment facilities, community mental health, and juvenile detention settings. She has worked with children and adolescents with special education, mental health, and developmental needs. In her work across these challenging settings, she has provided direct service, training for staff, education and support to parents, and consultation services. Dr. Hardister joined Qatar Foundation in 2012 to serve in the capacity of school psychologist at Awsaj Academy, and then in 2014 transitioned to the role of Principal of The Learning Center (TLC). In January 2018, Dr. Hardister was appointed to the role of Director for TLC. Prior to joining Qatar Foundation in 2012, Dr. Hardister worked at a community mental health center in Denver, Colorado where she served as the Program Manager for Early Childhood Services and the Director of Training for psychologists.
