أخصائي التكنولوجيا المساعدة

تخرج في كلية الرياضيات التطبيقية وعلوم الكمبيوتر في جامعة هيوستن بولاية تكساس، وقضى أكثر من 33 عامًا في دراسة تكنولوجيا المعلومات، والعمل معها. فما بدأ كمجرد تجربة بسيطة مع شاشات اللمس في مركز الكويت للتوحد، نما وتطور إلى شغف بالتكنولوجيا المتخصصة في علاج الإعاقة على اتساعه. عمل عن كثب مع التكنولوجيا المساعدة في دول الشرق الأوسط لصالح العديد من الأشخاص من ذوي الإعاقات المختلفة.

على مدى الإحدى عشرة سنة الماضية، اضطلع كميل بعمل رائد من خلال نشر التكنولوجيا المساعدة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط في المراكز، ومع المعالجين وأولياء أمور الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة؛ حيث قدم إرشادات مهمة ومبتكرة وعملية في مجالات تطوير وتنفيذ وتوفير برمجيات وأجهزة وأدوات تعليمية محددة.

السيد كميل هو عضو في ISAAC “الجمعية الدولية للاتصال البديل والداعم”، وحضر عديد الدورات التدريبية والندوات الدولية التي عززت معرفته وخبرته في مجال التكنولوجيا المساعدة. كما حضر وأكمل عديد الدورات التدريبية حول تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات وعديد الدورات التدريبية المتخصصة في التكنولوجيا المساعدة، ما عزز معرفته وخبرته في هذا المجال. متى هو متحدث نشط ومدرب للتكنولوجيا المساعدة، بالإضافة إلى قدرته على تقييم أو المساعدة في تقييم التكنولوجيا المساعدة لذوي الإعاقة.

Camille Matta

Assistive Technology Professional

An Applied Mathematics and Computer Science graduate from University of Houston, Texas, Camille Matta spent over 33 years studying and working with Information Technology. What have started as an experiment with touchscreens for the Autism Center in Kuwait, grew into a passion in specialized technology for the Disability sector.

He worked closely with Assistive Technology in the Middle East for people with various disabilities.
Over the last 11 years, Camille has been doing a pioneering work by spreading the Assistive Technology in the Middle East throughout the centers, therapists and parents of children with special needs, whom he provided energetic, innovative, and practical guidance in the development, implementation, and delivery of specific software, hardware, and educational tools.

Member of ISAAC, Camille attended many international trainings and seminars which enhanced his knowledge and experience in Assistive Technology. Camille attended and completed several ICT and specialized AT training courses adding to his knowledge in this field. He is an active speaker, presenter and trainer of Assistive Technology, in addition to his ability to provide or assist AT Assessment for people with special needs.
